Guilt is not a natural fuel for your life.
Unless you were raised as a Good Girl.

The basics of guilt…
- You do something.
- It breaks some rule or hurts someone.
- You feel guilty.
The idea of feeling guilty is supposed to motivate you to do what is expected of you.
Then, we have Good Girls, who are taught to be selfless servants responsible for everyone else’s feelings.
If you don’t do enough, someone might get upset or mad.
Then, YOU are BAD!
(Another emotional lever drilled into Good Girls that can feel like the kiss of death.)
Guilt becomes a never-leaving partner because there is always more to do or people to care for.
A life fueled by the guilt of what might be or what was bad can suck you dry.
This is NOT natural.
