James and I have attended the Michigan Women’s Basketball games for over 12 years.
- Despite my being a Michigan State grad and major Izzo fan.
- I believe it’s important for women business owners to support female athletes.
- Plus, Michigan plays a few miles from where we live.
For the last 12 years, we sat in the bleachers behind the team.
- It was fun to be so close to the team.
- We could often hear what was going on during huddles.
- We felt part of the game experience.
This year, things felt a bit off.
- The bleachers weren’t as comfortable as they used to be.
- The resulting achiness made me rather grumpy.
- Even when games were exciting.
We decided it was time for a change.
- We moved over two sections.
- Got “real” seats.
- Plus a front-row view not too far from the basket.
I was surprised at what a difference our new seats made.
- We can now hear what the athletes say to each other as they play.
- The game feels more personal being closer to the athletes.
- And sitting in a chair is sooooo much more comfortable – I left smiling.
Makes me think of successful women who were raised as Good Girls… what upgrade have you made for your pleasure this week?
