Thankfully, today is the end of an era!
(It might be the reason it’s been hard to lose weight!)
My arch nemesis is being moved out today.
- At first glance, he looks sort of cute.
- And, can be amusing at times.
- BUT, it’s all a con job.
He’s been terrorizing me for over a year.
- And loves to taunt me any time I leave my house.
- Show me who is boss.
I tried to evict him a few months ago.
- Sealed off his favorite access to me.
- He threw a total tantrum.
And created a very visible way to get back in my life.
It ends today.
Good riddance!
- No more cortisol surging as I wonder when his next invasion will happen.
- Fretting over the impact of his visits.
I am beyond excited and oh-so-hopeful!
- I’ve been dreaming of this day for a long time!
- With every bang of the hammer, I feel stress release.
Today we are getting new soffits and fascia to support our new gutters.
- They will be wrapped in kryptonite – or at least metal.
- They will cut off access to the inside of my house.
I’m giggling, thinking about the tantrum that darn red squirrel will be throwing once everything is done.
I hope he enjoys his new home – very far from me!
Makes me think of people who want to build their confidence and networking skills…How do you get rid of the pests that challenge your success?
