My Fingers are Crossed!

Cynthia with glamorous sunglasses saying So Long. Farewell.

Thankfully, today is the end of an era!

(It might be the reason it’s been hard to lose weight!)

My arch nemesis is being moved out today.

  • At first glance, he looks sort of cute.
  • And, can be amusing at times.
  • BUT, it’s all a con job.

He’s been terrorizing me for over a year.

  • And loves to taunt me any time I leave my house.
  • Show me who is boss.

I tried to evict him a few months ago.

  • Sealed off his favorite access to me.
  • He threw a total tantrum.

And created a very visible way to get back in my life.

It ends today.

Good riddance!

  • No more cortisol surging as I wonder when his next invasion will happen.
  • Fretting over the impact of his visits.

I am beyond excited and oh-so-hopeful!

  • I’ve been dreaming of this day for a long time!
  • With every bang of the hammer, I feel stress release.

Today we are getting new soffits and fascia to support our new gutters.

  • They will be wrapped in kryptonite – or at least metal.
  • They will cut off access to the inside of my house.

I’m giggling, thinking about the tantrum that darn red squirrel will be throwing once everything is done.

I hope he enjoys his new home – very far from me!

Makes me think of people who want to build their confidence and networking skills…How do you get rid of the pests that challenge your success?
