The sunny alcove housed an unexpected treasure.
A plant library!
Yesterday I toured my first potential coworking space.
- The 777 BrightWorks Coworking in Ann Arbor.
- It was a lovely office setting.
- With an unexpected feature – a plant library!
It is perfect for someone like me – with a thumb that is more black than green.
The library features a variety of small plants in cute containers.
Coworkers can check them out for up to five days.
- Add some green to their office space.
- And don’t have to water them!
- Just return at the end of their desk visit.
When returned, you stick a sign in the plant pot that says:
“Shhh…I’m on Plant PTO!I just wrapped up a week of desk duty
And need a little R&R.Please don’t check me out right now – I’m recharging my chlorophyll.
Be back soon, better than ever.
With Love, Your friendly foliage”
Here’s what I got about the coworking space from this simple, yet interesting plant library.
- They care about their coworkers.
- They pay attention to details.
- They are creative.
I’m not sure if the coworking space vibe has enough energy for me or not – but the plant library definitely has me intrigued!
Makes me think of people who want to build their confidence and networking skills…what do your details say about you?
