Where is your happy space for work?
- I’m on a bit of a quest to honor myself more.
- I LOVE being around people – even when I’m working.
When I was in college, I often studied in bars or food courts – and got great grades.
- The noise and activity around me were relaxing.
- I sometimes watched people for inspiration.
- Studying in a silent library felt like punishment.
Fast forward to today.
- I’m working from home and not traveling as much as I used to.
- I have an office to myself.
- My colleague Ruby (also known as my dog) can no longer make it up the stairs to keep me company during the day.
Hmmm…I think I need to add more people and spiciness to my regular workspace.
- Find the adult version of studying in a bar or food court at the mall.
- Where I can be with chatty people while I work.
I’m checking out a coworking space today.
- It looks pretty – and has a Shawarma Shop right next to it.
- Curious how the vibe feels – is it more library energy or food court?
- Extra bonus – it’s only two miles from my house.
My Party Girl fingers are crossed it works out.
Makes me think of people who want to build their confidence and networking skills…how do you set up your world to honor you so you can tap your strengths with ease?
