It Doesn’t Even Cost a Penny

Being kind doesn't cost a penny
Okay. Just call me Susie Sunshine.

You won’t be the first – or the last – to do so.

I was raised to volunteer.

Have been president or on the board of a gazillion organizations.

However, my dad always told me the most important volunteering I could do was to spread sunshine in the world.

Adoring my dad, I consciously trained myself to turn up the light and love when I go out in public.

And it’s made my life delicious.

  • I’ve met fascinating people.

  • Launched great friendships thanks to sunny conversations.

  • And, found lovely people who happily helped me when needed – even on the Metro in DC!

One of the best investments I’ve made in my life is spreading kindness – and it didn’t cost me a penny.

Have you noticed how the world shifts when you consciously spread light and love?
